This year, BFH Gala is using our platform to create impact beyond the event.

 

As part of our commitment to raising awareness around sickle cell, we’re bringing our community together for the BFH Blood Drive — encouraging more people, particularly from Black communities, to register and give blood.

For people living with sickle cell, blood donations can be life-changing.

People from Black African and Black Caribbean backgrounds are more likely to have the blood types that are urgently needed to support patients with sickle cell. By becoming a donor, you could help provide the closely matched blood that someone needs for their treatment.
